Time with your kids, on paper.

Orders, time-with arrangements, relocation, the May 2024 reforms. I build these around what your children actually need, not around what feels like winning the week.

What you'll hear from most lawyers

We'll fight to maximise your time with the children.

Translation:

Maximise is a direction, not a plan. It sets no schedule, no handover, no back-up for when work runs late, and it never asks what your kids actually need at their age.

Parenting cases aren't won by maximising hours. They're won by men whose kids' lives look orderly on paper because they look orderly in life. I'll build that record with you.

What to expect

The first ninety days, mapped.

No tactical surprises. No “we'll see how it goes”. Here's the actual sequence.

  1. 01

    Day 0

    Strategy session

Ninety minutes. What you have now, what you want in twelve months, what the May 2024 reforms changed, and the documented-involvement work that starts this week.

  2. 02

    Weeks 1–4

    Stabilise + record

Interim arrangements in writing, school-pickup pattern, OurFamilyWizard if needed. Every text becomes evidence. We write each one as if a registrar will read it.

  3. 03

    Weeks 4–12

    Mediation or FDR

Family Dispute Resolution unless safety carves it out. Most parenting matters resolve here when the documented record is solid.

  4. 04

    Month 3+

    Orders

Consent orders if we have agreement. Final orders application if we don't, with the documented record built into the affidavits from day one.

Judges love dads who turn up with options, not ultimatums.

Common questions

What men actually ask me in the first call.

No. The presumption of equal shared parental responsibility was repealed. The court's only test now is the best interests of the child. The shape of your case has changed; the strategy has too.

Document it in writing this week, then a recovery application if she escalates. Two weeks of unilateral withholding is the line at which courts start moving fast. Don't wait it out.

Only with her consent or a relocation order. Move first and you'll be back inside thirty days, with a worse case than you started with. Apply, don't pack.

Yes. The new factors put 'any views expressed by the child' near the top. A family report writer or ICL usually elicits those. Coaching backfires; presence doesn't.

Right now is hard. If you're not okay:
